Preparing for new experiment & public speaking & Listening to Fish Leong

SO MANY "first times" TODAY!

One hour lost due to day-time saving...

Silk Road internet conference today. My task in the next week is to build up a recruit system. We have made a decision that this project will start around June 27 or 28.

Experiment almost ready! I have got some slots on SONA, and ready to run subjects!

I was going through the class materials from our EINT 2400. I found one feedback especially motivational:
"... I think you have the potential to be a very very good speaker. Have you seen TED Talks? If not, look in google for TED Talks. There are many talks from different people and they are very nice.
I really think that you have the potential to give a presentation of the style of TED talks, you are very good :)"
Interestingly, I was a TEDx speaker -- I made a speech in Chinese, of course. But I do have been practicing public speaking for a long time, even though I don't know when I'll get the chance to speak (something not only academic) in front of a large audience.
Thank you for your encouragement. I'll try to form a list of good TED talks to imitate and practice.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST:
I always thought that Fish Leong's lyrics of her love songs are too naive and too shallow (the melody is always good, though). For the first time in my life, I begin to understand them. I replayed Silk Road on my computer and on my mind once and again, and I become more confirmed that I have caught a "fever".
My heart beats so fast without a reason. I feel a little dizzy. It must be the result of several sips of wine in Friday dinner, although two days have passed ever since. I just know that! I know that I cannot drink even a sip at all...
